1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data received through this website is the individual with Mexican tax ID (RFC) HESA900520FW5, under the Régimen de Incorporación Fiscal, at Auditores 23, El Sifón, Iztapalapa, Mexico City, operating as 4HMEDIA, under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. For any matter related to your personal data, write to us at [email protected].
2. Personal data we process
This website does not use forms or user accounts.
When you email us, we process your name, your email address and any information you choose to include in your message, such as your company, your role, your phone number or the details of your project.
When you visit the website, Google Analytics automatically collects browsing data: pages visited, time on page, interactions, device and browser type, language, referring site and approximate location (country and city). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
Like any web server, the one hosting this website may automatically log technical data about each visit: IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type.
We do not request sensitive personal data. Please do not include it in your messages.
3. Purposes
We use the data in your message to reply and follow up on the conversation you start, to prepare and send you the information, proposal or quote you request and, if you decide to hire us, to start the corresponding business relationship. These purposes are necessary to handle your request.
We use the server’s technical logs only to keep the website running and protect it from misuse.
We use Google Analytics browsing data, in aggregate, to get statistics on how the website is used and to improve its content and performance. This purpose is not necessary to handle your request, and you can object to it at any time as explained in section 8.
We do not use your data for marketing, advertising or profiling. If we ever wanted to, we would ask for your consent first.
4. Providers and transfers
We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties. The providers of our email and website hosting services process it only on our behalf and according to our instructions.
Google LLC provides the Google Analytics service and processes browsing data on our behalf, on servers that may be located outside Mexico, including the United States. You can read how it handles that data at policies.google.com/privacy.
We would only disclose your data without your consent in the cases allowed by law, for example, to comply with a request from a competent authority.
5. Retention
We keep your messages for as long as needed to handle your request and any relationship that results from it, and to meet our legal obligations. After that, we block them and delete them securely.
We keep the server’s technical logs only for as long as the website’s operation and security require. Google Analytics keeps browsing data for the retention period set in the service, up to 14 months.
6. Rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection
You have the right to know what data we hold about you and how we use it (access), to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete (rectification), to have it deleted (cancellation), and to object to its use for specific purposes (objection).
To exercise these rights, send your request to [email protected] with your name and how you want to receive our reply, a document proving your identity or, where applicable, that of your representative, a clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise, and anything that helps us locate the data. If you request a rectification, state the changes and attach supporting documents.
We will reply within 20 business days of receiving your request. If it is granted, we will carry it out within 15 business days of our reply.
7. Withdrawing consent and limiting use
You can withdraw your consent at any time or ask us to limit the use or disclosure of your data, for example, to stop writing to you. Send your request to [email protected] following the procedure above. If withdrawing consent prevents us from handling your request, we will not be able to continue with it.
8. Cookies and tracking technologies
This website uses Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_7XSWD755W8), which tell visits apart anonymously and last up to 2 years. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies for advertising.
You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or turn off Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The website works the same without them.
The website also stores a technical flag in your browser’s session storage, with no personal data, to remember whether the 3D illustration should be turned off to improve performance. It is deleted when you close the tab.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice because of legal changes, changes to our services or changes to how the website works. We will publish any change on this page with its last-updated date.
If you believe we have not respected your rights, you can contact the competent personal data protection authority.
